Shipping policy

Last updated: August 26, 2026

Many aviation ground-equipment products are oversized, heavy, made to order, or fulfilled directly by a manufacturer or distributor. Shipping arrangements therefore vary by product and destination.

Quotes and delivery charges

Unless a product page expressly states otherwise, shipping is not included in an initial product estimate. Before an order is finalized, we will confirm the destination, delivery method, estimated freight charge, and any known accessorial fees. Additional carrier charges may apply for residential delivery, liftgate service, limited-access locations, redelivery, storage, address corrections, inside delivery, or unsuccessful delivery attempts.

Processing and lead times

Processing, production, and transit estimates begin after payment requirements, fitment, configuration, and delivery details are confirmed. Published or quoted dates are estimates, not guarantees. Manufacturer backlogs, carrier conditions, weather, supply constraints, and customized equipment can cause delays.

Direct manufacturer fulfillment

Some approved products may ship directly from the manufacturer or distributor to the customer. Shipments may arrive separately and may use parcel, less-than-truckload, full-truckload, or specialized freight service.

Receiving freight

The customer is responsible for providing an accurate delivery address, contact information, site-access details, and suitable personnel or equipment to receive the shipment. Before signing the delivery receipt, inspect the packaging and equipment. Note visible damage or shortages clearly on the carrier’s receipt, photograph the shipment, retain all packaging, and notify Vanguard promptly. Concealed damage should be reported as soon as discovered and within the carrier or supplier’s required claim window.

Risk, title, and international shipments

Risk-of-loss and title terms will be stated in the final quote or order confirmation. International availability, duties, taxes, brokerage, import requirements, and export restrictions must be confirmed before purchase and may be the customer’s responsibility.

Address changes

Contact us immediately if delivery information changes. Once an order enters production or ships, rerouting may be unavailable or subject to additional charges.
